LONG STAY VOLUNTEERING
Long stay volunteer
This modality is thought for all those people who live far from the
sanctuary and want to help animals directly.
It is a unique experience since you will live every day with all the animals that
they live in the sanctuary. You will meet them in a more personal way, you will be able to observe
the relationships between them, the things that they like and dislike. As well
you will establish emotional ties with them.
All those volunteers who come from a long stay will be enabled a
room inside the main house of the sanctuary. The other parts of the house,
kitchen, bathroom, lounge will be collective between the volunteers and the founders.
Activities
-Give breakfasts and dinners.
-clean your facilities.
-Get them out for a walk.
-Build or improve facilities.
-Care of sick animals.
- Remove them from their homes in the morning and put them in their homes at night.
-Gardens of gardening
-Help in the realization of events.
-Help in the dissemination through social networks.
Requirements
-Being over 18 years.
-To have own car since the sanctuary is 15 km from the town more
near.
-Respect all living beings.
-Be responsible and worker.
-Vegan feeding and clothing during the stay in the sanctuary.
-Immediate level of Spanish.
-Fill the volunteer form. Said form will be sent via email.
-To do a training course on the animals that live in the sanctuary, of a
week of duration. You will learn safety rules, how to treat and care for
every animal and the special care that some of them need.
-Follow the established program.
-Animals are not permitted.
-Firmar a confidentiality contract.
Duration
-Minimum: 2 weeks.
-Maximum: 2 a month.
-Days free: Sundays
Cost
-10 euros per week.

-Internet (there is no internet connection in the sanctuary)
